‘ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD’
DIRECTED BY RACHEL JERMY
Sat & Sun, 5:30pm, Pinter Studio
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern don’t really know who they are, where they are, or what they’re supposed to be doing, but they try their best. Set behind the scenes of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’, the two friends try to navigate their way through vague orders from Claudius, peculiar mutterings from Hamlet, and domestic dramas from everyone else. Along the way, they meet a troupe of creepy musicians and players who become a help and a hindrance to their quest.
There may or may not be a spoiler in the title…
DIRECTED BY ELOINA HAINES & CHRIS FIELD
SAT & SUN, 7:45pm, Pinter Studio
Don Lear sits at the head of the table overlooking Manhattan, an empire of crime and sin. But he’s old and nearing death. His three daughters each want a slice of the profits for themselves, with their questionably loyal husbands stood eagerly by their sides
Meanwhile, Lear’s mafioso, Gloucester, finds himself betrayed and hunted by both sides in the upcoming war. Edmund, his bastard son, has sold his own brother out to the upstart militia, and then went on to stab his own father in the back
Change is coming to New York. When Lear dies, something will have to rise up to replace him. The only question is, who, or what, will be the first to secure their claim?
